We appreciate the opportunity to recognize our members for their hard work and efforts within the martial arts community. It is the role of Hall of Fame to select the most deserving of candidates and create a platform to showcase their achievements. We encourage all members to review the nomination forms and submit your students, peers or your instructor for one of the many Hall of Fame Awards that are available each year. These include Black Belt of the Year, Master of the Year, and art/style specific recognitions. If you are a dojo owner, we also have Student Recognition Awards for you to present at the dojo level to encourage the next generation of NKJF warriors.
By charter mandate, only a select few can be inducted into the Hall of Fame each year. This is the highest honor that we can bestow upon a member, and it is the committee’s obligation to ensure this prestigious honor is protected. If your nominee is not selected, please understand that we may have felt the nominee was an excellent martial artist but need to make hard decisions in the selection process. If this happens, we encourage you to consider nominating them again in the future – fall down seven times, stand up eight.
