Hanshi Richard Dixon began in his Martial arts training in 1985 in the art of Goshin Jutsu. Over the years his training would take him to study several arts both traditional and non traditional origins. In 1995 Richard found a home at Sembach Martial Arts where he would earn Black Belt ranks in Goshin Budo Jujutsu and Motobu Ha Shito Ryu Karate. This was also the time when he would become a full time martial artist training six days per week often including morning and evening classes. During this time he would expand his training to include Aiki Jutsu and American Kenpo.
In 2000 Richard was passed joint ownership of Sembach Martial Arts from Sensei Gavin Southworth.
In 2004 Richard opened his second Martial arts school location followed by a third location in 2006.
In 2008 Richard Dixon was awarded his 5th Dan and permission to found the Unified Fighting Arts Association and Unified Fighting Arts Federation. At this point Master Dixon was running 4 dojos and teaching a martial art PE program at Rock Solid Academy to grades K-12. Master Dixon also taught martial arts program at Miseracordia University and guest lectured at Colorado technical University at the PHD level twice.
Master Dixon has continually taught a broad spectrum of martial arts seminars and lectures relating to various aspects of the arts.
Master Dixon has promoted a Distinguished and talented group of black belt students who have all developed as excellent competitors and instructors.
-In 2015 Master Dixon stepped away from brick and morter dojos to pursue a profession in welding. He has maintained his Martial arts passion and continues to train students privately and conduct seminars.
- Master Dixon is now the Head of Welding for Morgan corperation. He heads welding for 14 manufacturing plants and several service centers across the United States and Canada.
Master Dixon has written a welding training program taught across Morgan and even taught to several highschools in a -for credit paid internship. Master Dixon is an AWS Certified Welder, Certified Welding Educator and Certified Welding Inspector.
Since joining the NJKF Master Dixon has been an Ambassador for the organization in his travels across the United States and Canada and been the only person in the history of the NJKF to hold the position regional director for 2 regions simultaneously.

Sho-Dai Soke Andrus is responsible for the creation of all programs at Safe Day Studio. These programs include Reality-based self-defense, Systems of Combative Arts, De-escalation training, Hon Hab Do, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), traditional martial arts, Women’s Self-defense, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He also created and teaches the “Active Shooter Training”, “Staying in the Moment”, "Teen Safety Technique Program", "Women's Self-Defense", Realtor Self-defense”, “De-escalation Training” and the "Rollin' with Safe Day Program", a wheel-chair self-defense program for those who challenge the disease of Spina Bifida every day! Mr. Mike previously owned and operated two martial art academies in Huntington Valley, PA and Ivyland, PA. He now teaches private and public seminars worldwide.
Sho-Dai Soke Andrus has taught countless seminars, including DOD (DLA), Sports Karate Museum, World Warrior Alliance, World Karate Union Hall of Fame weekend, Line up of Masters, Legends of Martial Arts, Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame, Kung Fu & Karate Expo, USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, WASCA/CSEN (Pescara, Italy), Generations Tae Kwon Do, MBMA Karate, Universal Systems of Martial Arts Organization, Women in Investing Network of Philadelphia, Cane Master seminar with Mark Shuey, Jr., Tenant High School for “College Living” and “Out on my own” curriculum, Indian Creek’s private clients, Bucks County and Montessori Academy and more. He was selected as Security Advisor for Kaplan Career Institute for public safety. Mr. Mike appeared on Fox 29 teaching a segment on pregnant women’s self-defense.
Sho-Dai Soke Andrus has spoken at the Bucks County Meta-Physical Society, Lion’s Club of Dania Beach, Christian’s Women’s Club, North Penn Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Community College, Girl Scouts of America (created the program for the self-defense merit badge program in Bucks County), Women’s networking groups, Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Temple University, Peace + Love Domestic Violence Event with Sisters in Harmony. He is a regular guest on blog talk radio as a subject matter expert in reality-based self-defense. Mr. Mike developed the “Teen Safety Technique” Program for Holland Middle School. He is the self-defense expert at the Philly Fit retreats in Avalon, NJ and was the Director of the 1st Annual BJJ Tournament at the 2010 WKUHOF Weekend.
Sho-Dai Soke Andrus was the primary subject matter expert for, “The Benefits of Martial Arts for Women” an article published in Diet and Nutrition Magazine. On January 5. 2014, Sho-Dai Soke Andrus published “Staying in the Moment!”: A Practical Guide to Women’s Self-defense available on Amazon and Kindle. He is currently teaching public and private women’s self-defense seminars and filming a 4-part series involving personal responsibility and intent, titled “Staying in the Moment!” Sho-Dai Soke Andrus is currently completing Volume 2. Sho-Dai Soke Andrus is authoring a new book titled “Breaking the Kuzushi – No round Two!”

A long-time student of legendary GM James Debrow, “Shogun” Brown is the Senior Executive Grandmaster Chief Examiner of the Fighting Tigers School of Champions and is in charge of all operations and rank advancement. He also operates one of the largest karate schools in the state of Kansas, Shogun Martial Arts Center International. He holds a 9th Dan in Shin-Do-Ryu, an 8th Dan in Okinawan Kenpo Karate, and 7th Dan rankings in Okinawan Kubudo, Aiki-Bu-Jitsu, and a Black Sash in Chi’na 18 Postures Kung Fu. “Shogun” Brown has trained military and law enforcement security details globally.
